After watching this film i realized how many opportunities we have here in New York that sometimes we don't take advantage of. These kids were born in Brothels and were growing up in the red light district with limited choices on how to survive. The "Red Light District" is a place where women prostitute themselves to me able to survive. In the Red Light District their is a lot of poverty and many illegal activities. The Kids that live in the Red light District don't have many opportunities, the girls end up in prostitution and the boys end up doing illegal things. I hope the kids get the chance to go to a good school to be able to get a good education. I hope they get to travel and become successful people in life.
Watching this movie "Born into Brothels"made me appreciate life a lot more. It help me see the, and understand the struggle in other countries. This movie inspired me to wanna help kids all over the world. Not every kid over their can take it upon their selves to get educated. They live in a area called the Red light District, where their is a lot of prostituting.
Born into brothels is a good movie. The movie focuses around 7-8 children who are the children of prostitutes in India they are not accepted into any school cause of their parents. They have no future and are looseing hope fast, they're going to be force into prostitution and the guys might have to be junkies. Its a touching film that shows that not every one has the the same oportunities as some people in other countries. I suggest people try and watch this film as it shows how one woman fights for about 7-8 kids to get them into school.
I think this film is a very educational film because of the fact that the film was a documentary on Brothels. This film shows how people in Brothels are living. The red light district is a form of prostitution, you will find prostitutes in the red light district. The opportunities that was given to the children was schooling. I would like to see these children succeed and got to college.

this movie makes you realized how bad other peoples life is in other parts of the world and you see the strougles they have to go through on an everyday bases. you see their way of living and the places they live in and u apriciate the way of living we have here in the U.S. this kids dont have any opportunity of getting out of the brothels if it wasnt for the people that helped them and made this muvie.
What kind of opportunities are available to the kids from the "Red Light District"?The only opportunities that are available for children from the red light district are either go to school if you can get a scholarship and afford it or to become prostitutes. I would like to see the children in the movies grow up and become professionals. I would like to see them move out of the red light district and continue on to live their lives without having that past haunt them.
The red light district basically are for people that live in brothels and people that have sex for money. Children get use to that style of life in thoses brothels and its sad because the six kids that we met do want a future. At the end of the movie the lady that was trying to help the kids they got to go to school. Also some after a while there parents took them out its sad because they don't pay much atettion to them.
Sure its easy to forget that us citizens of the united states is very lucky to have freedom of choice about what they want to do with there life's but people in india that are born into brothels never forget that they can't. One women understud this unfair life these children would have to face, it stops being a life when you know what your have to do all because your parents did it.
I always knew India was a poor country but I didn't know young girls was forced into prostitution. I think Indian girls is some bad females. They are worst than black men when you talk about the number of options each ethnicity group have. "The Red Light District" made them look real dirty and that's really horrible because I have family from India.
